For ADHD brains and anyone who forgets what they walked into the room for

A planner that expects you to skip days.

Three priorities a day, a place to dump every thought, tasks broken into tiny steps, and a timer you can actually see. On your phone, tablet or computer. No setup.

One payment. No subscription. No Notion, Sheets or GoodNotes needed.

Most planners are built for people who already have it together.

Hourly grids, dated pages, twelve sections to fill in. Miss three days and the empty pages start to feel like a report card. Halfstep was designed around the things that tend to go wrong instead.

Everything on one screen, nothing you have to build

Open it, type your first priority, done. The features below are optional and stay out of the way until you want them.

★

Top 3

The day's priorities, capped at three. Finish one and the planner celebrates with you.

☁

Brain dump

The orange + button saves any thought in two seconds. Send it to today or to Someday later.

⋯

Tiny steps

Turn “do taxes” into “open the folder”. Each step gets its own checkbox.

◔

Visual focus timer

5, 10, 15, 25 or 45 minutes on a ring that empties. Attach it to a task.

✓

Optional trackers

Up to six habits, plus energy and mood. Missed days don't reset anything.

↺

Weekly reset

Five questions and a short checklist, once a week, in about ten minutes.

Stuck on a task? Make it smaller.

Tap any task to break it into steps small enough to start. “Reply to the landlord” becomes “open the email”, “write three sentences”, “hit send”. Then the timer gives you five minutes, and five minutes is allowed to be enough.

Questions

Is this a subscription?

No. You pay once and keep the planner and the printable pages, including future updates to version 1.

Which devices does it work on?

Any recent browser: iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, Windows, Chromebook. You can add it to your home screen like an app. No Notion, Google Sheets or GoodNotes needed.

Do I need to be diagnosed with ADHD to use it?

No. It was designed with ADHD challenges in mind (time blindness, task paralysis, too many open loops), and it works for anyone who finds regular planners too rigid.

Where is my data stored?

Only on your device, in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server. Clearing your browser data erases it, so use “Download backup” in Settings now and then.

Can I use it on two devices?

Yes, with the same license key. Your data doesn't sync automatically; move it with a backup file.

Is Halfstep a treatment for ADHD?

No. Halfstep is a planning tool. It does not diagnose or treat ADHD or any condition. If you have questions about ADHD, talk to a health professional.

What if it isn't for me?
